St. Pat's Parade Info

The 141st St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at 1:04 p.m. today at East 18th Street and Superior Avenue in Cleveland. About 10,000 marchers in 185 units will process up Superior Avenue to Public Square, turn north at East Roadway to Rockwell Avenue, and disband at East Sixth Street. The parade lasts about 2½ hours.



Cleveland police and city officials will close numerous roads today to prepare for the 1 p.m. St. Patrick's Day parade.

Superior Avenue from East 18th Street to East 26th Street will close at 11 a.m. as parade participants line up.

Superior Avenue, along the parade route which stretches from East 21st Street to Public Square, will be closed beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

The road will reopen after the parade ends.

The parade will stage on Superior Avenue at East 18th St.and will step off at 1 p.m.

It will follow Superior Avenue west to East Roadway and turn north.

From East Roadway north it will travel to Rockwell Avenue.

At Rockwell Avenue it will turn east to East 6th Street.

The following streets will be closed to parking between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday.

Superior Ave. from East 26th St. to East Roadway

East Roadway from Superior Ave. to Rockwell Ave.

Rockwell Ave. from Ontario St. to East 9th St.

East 6th Street from Rockwell Ave. to St. Clair Ave.

East 17th St. from Superior Ave. to Rockwell Ave.

East 18th St. from Rockwell Ave. to Payne Ave.

Payne Ave. from East 18th St. to East 21st, north side only.
